100% offside position when deflected shot was taken I was watching on sky but I think @RustyRef has it right

3-0 Boro. Shot comes in as Bamford is in an offside position. Jansen stretches out a leg and deflects to Bamford who scores. Would that not be an attempted save by the defender and therefore be offside? I wouldn't personally say he was trying to play the ball but block/ control the shot. Thoughts?

I think it'd look great if the Ref Chat was put just to the right of the whistle where chat currently sits. Well impressed with the design though feel like the green compliments the blue/green colour scheme of the site

Can anyone give me any help with a misconduct report. End of game turn round to see two players rolling on the floor. No clear aggressor and didn't see it start. Couldn't get names because the players were both surrounded by parents and whisked off home.

Update: first game was fine, second was aggressive and dirty. Had 20 fouls argument and a brawl at the end. What a match haha assessor said I did fantastic to keep control of it. Away team were the aggressors though. Home team took a 7 0 thrashing. Had to deal with Players, coaches, parents...

Got an under 10s then under 11s game tomorrow. Home team known to be a bit dirty. Any tips?

Hi I've booked onto a basic FA referee course with North Riding a few days ago but haven't been sent my pre course pack yet. The introduction is in a week but I thought it was something to be done and taken to that session. Does anyone know when and how it is given to trainee referees?

Hi I'm new to the forum and I've booked on to the North Riding FA Basic Course starting next Wednesday. What should I expect from the course? I've read the basic outline of the course but I'm just interested in progression etc and equipment given on the course. Also I'm youth first aid qualified...
