Sold **SOLD ** Ervocom Buzzer Flags for sale

For sale is my set of Ervocom buzzer flags. This is a three flag set so you have two for your AR’s use and either one spare or for 4O use (not that I’ve ever done a game where a 4O has been used) Bought and used for the past five years but now I only AR I have no need for these. What you see...

How long before Coronavirus impacts Football?

One of the (Saturday) leagues I officiate on has emailed everyone saying that with immediate effect the pre game respect handshake is not to be carried out due to virus spreading fears.

    Goalkeepers and kickoffs post goals

So this happened during a (thoroughly entertaining) FA Cup game that I went along to watch yesterday as I'm currently injured and cannot referee. Home team (red) had just scored. During the celebrations home 'keeper goes over to the touch line and has something done with his socks. The male on...

    Apple Watch??

That can be done on one of the timers (pro version only I think). It stops the main timer and a smaller one for additional time commences. As a neat reminder that time is stopped, the watch vibrates every couple of seconds in case you restart the game without restarting the timer

    Apple Watch??

Padders: As others have said above, carding procedure doesn't change. My procedure was/is call the player over, check name against sheet (formally on a match card in wallet, now on the watch) do the talk, show the card and off we go again. Thankfully I'm at a level where I have zero wish to...

    Apple Watch??

In a word, excellent. I had a play with the timer and some other settings pre game and it worked almost perfectly. Goal, subs and cautions were all easy to record and post match the upload and subsequent match history/time-line in the app was great. Only fault I could find was it didn't pick up...

    Apple Watch??

Good timing.... Picked my Apple Watch 4 up two days ago. Used it with Ref Six last night and got another game tonight with it. Last night went fine but it was the easiest game ever with no cards and only two goals. Tonights is a local derby U.18 Ryman game so should be more of a run out for it...

    IFAB Meeting

I've been mulling over this sin-bin idea for a while now and the obvious question is how are those of us at grass roots going to deal with them if/when they are introduced. After a bit of thinking I think I've come up with a semi workable idea. Hear me out and see what you think. I always have...

    Penalty Shootout Help

Order of takers. Don't ask its not required in law. Just as long as five different players take the kicks then crack on. As for writing, I just use a blank bit of paper divided in half, number of player taking the pen in a column and a tick or cross if (s)he scores/misses. Keeps it nice and...

    Defibrillator Petition

The whole point of these units is that you don't need any training. They are "idiot proof" and will not activate and deliver a shock unless all the right conditions are detected by the unit. Instructions are clear and pictorial so in theory anybody should be able to open, apply pads and use...

    Defibrillator Petition

Should be mandatory at all sporting venues and available in many more public buildings and areas. They aren't expensive in the scheme of things and genuinely can be the difference between life and death. Middlesex recently sent out the e-version of this seasons Count Cup rules and on the second...
