For anyone who thinks behaviour has deteriorated, the jury is still out
8 minutes for this Argie to leave the FOP (7 mins in). Reason for the introduction of red and yellow cards apparently
Maybe we'll get the something similar tonight!

To confirm, If anybody heard Ken Aston speaking, this was the incident that brought in the yellow and red cards. He was sitting at a set of traffic lights and they went amber / red, so the idea was formed.

This is so, so poor. Whatever FIFA has instructed the referees has fundamentally led to the LoTG not being applied.

This should be a very comfortable victory, we're a far better side.
Don't get drawn in to their antics

Reece James looking like a liability

Either back up your assertions with evidence, or stop talking rubbish 🤷‍♂️
I can only presume ARF stands for Argentinian Referee. Read the many, many threads on here throughout the WC (with comments from far greater and more experienced minds than mine) and on this thread.

Not watching the game while at work, but comments here and on the US-based forum are pretty consistent.

This is who Elfath is. Tries to manage players, and usually succeeds. But managing Argentina is a totally different deal. On this side of the pond, we usually laud his management skills but scratch our heads at some foul selection and technical lapses. But he sometimes is far from play and doesn’t like to use cards early. That makes him a really good option in FIFA’s eyes. It’s a vastly different style of officiating compared to Barton’s style.
