The Ref Stop

Qatar v Switzerland

The second image shows part of his foot is offside. What am I missing? The blue line chops the attacker as left toe off.
The wider line looks what they use for tolerance in the premier League, FIFA don't use that supposedly.
It's one of those whereby they could 'make it' onside or offside with their dubious lines, depending on their prerogative. I wouldn't mind hear the comms as I'm quite suspicious they screwed up in law

The Ref Stop
One of the AR's was running on the pitch for no reason
Looked like the sort of Level 7 we get assisting us (whose only done a few games) in the first round of the Vase

As alluded to above, not everywhere has the same view on mechanics. We’ve seen ARs on the field like that in the WC before. But we’d never see it from a UK or US AR because we care about it and it gets ingrained.

Watching ARs in Serie A running with the flag in the outside hand and flagging while running always made me laugh.
