Now, I know my allegiance is obvious..
But is the hair pull obvious?
The fact Bassey doesnt even make any noise about it, in a close rivals local derby, fighting for the extra points chasing Europe I think helps tell the story.
The angle of the footage could also show the arm go behind the head/hair and the player fall down at same time as coincidence. He doesnt fall backwards as a the type of hair pull would suggest.
If its proven he did, then he should have been sent off. No doubt about it.

It's always happened just wasn't a highlighted issue until they started giving reds for innocuous ones
Apart from he didn't pull his hair though, his hand made contact with the hair. There was no reaction by Cucurella, and let's face it there would be if he had his hair pulled, you don't see the head move like you would do for a hair pull, there really is nothing to see here. Whereas Martinez clearly pulled the hair, made two attempts to do it, and there was a reaction from DCL and his hair band was pulled out.
You are comparing apples with oranges to try to prove that Man Utd were wronged.
He holds his head and falls over if anyone goes anywhere near him. What I meant is when he has had his hair pulled previously he has made sure everyone knew about it, racing after the referee, he didn't do anything like that this time.

Ah but Rusty's allowed to say others are wrong because of the team they follow?
How does that work then?
I was just pointing out that the two scenarios were very different, and continually trying to compare one situation with another is neither helpful nor valid when they are very different.
Clearly my post had zero fan nonsense given my team are on minus 3 points and don't even get close enough to the opposition to be able to pull their hair.
