The Ref Stop
Do it, if just for the facilities, standard of games, things you'll learn from much more experienced referees. Even if you only have a season or 2 at 4, it's worth it.

Chuffed to say the least.
Had my first MDC a few weeks back, now on Saturday I'll have my second.
I'm 6-5 this season... and at my tender ripe old age of 50 I'm seriously considering going for 4 next season.

I know, some of you may think I left it a tad late, but hey better late than never
I got level 4 at 49, kicked off at 50 (fitness test) and got level 4 again at 52. I had a great time so just go for it.

The other level 4 AR was 64 on the weekend with me. He also said he had some really strong observer scores so could be in for a shout of going up to Level 3.

I am 52 next week and I am still at it, giving it all every match, and being as competitive and constructive as I can be with my younger peers. Had the honour of whistling my level’s playoff final last night. Last match of the season, closest thing to the next level up (probably around your L4). A good sign? Hope so.

You are lucky to have the “transparent” metrics-based system. Here it is glass ceiling with an elevator for the under 25s and anecdote-based promotion. But we keep knocking on that door!!!
