What code did you go for?Under 14 player shouted SNAP HIM as a player went past a couple of players.
YC and IDFK from where the player who shouted was stood.
Ax nice easy decision for me
The middle one would very much depend on tone and context of the game up to that point. The other two don’t insinuate violence at all for me so I’ve no issue with them. How strict are you all on it, what about get stuck in, don't let them past no matter what, don't let him go past 3 of us?
For me, all three of those phrases fall just the acceptable side of the line. None of them clearly advocate anything worse than a Careless FoulSometimes I hear things like that but it's hard to pin point exactly who said it, which is frustrating.

Not sure you got this one right in all honesty if from a player at that age I’m saying and doing nothing you may be in danger of being a version of last weeks ref if the team you gave a IDFK too start expecting this and then get a ref who’s not going to give it I would advise being careful and thinking of your fellow referees with things like this.Under 14 player shouted SNAP HIM as a player went past a couple of players.

Fellow referees may consider the player's comment as unsporting, as @pdhmobile has done. I do.Not sure you got this one right in all honesty if from a player at that age I’m saying and doing nothing you may be in danger of being a version of last weeks ref if the team you gave a IDFK too start expecting this and then get a ref who’s not going to give it I would advise being careful and thinking of your fellow referees with things like this.
I suppose you could argue either way but as I said I would see you as last weeks refFellow referees may consider the player's comment as unsporting, as @pdhmobile has done. I do.
On what basis? That is clearly a comment that can be seen as unsporting and warrant a caution. And the restart from the caution is an IFK. There is no question whatsoever that such a call would be correct in Law. (Perhaps we should talk about you as “last week’s ref” because you observe unsporting behavior and cannot be bothered to do anything about it?)I suppose you could argue either way but as I said I would see you as last weeks ref
I would say that the concept of 'last week's ref' is one that doesn't deal with situations correctly or adequately. This (however you choose to deal with) needs dealing with, can't let that sort of shout go at any level. Strong public rebuke or yellow card 100% here, every time.I suppose you could argue either way but as I said I would see you as last weeks ref
It’s not something you are explicitly required to deal with by law and it’s not what football expects so by doing so you create issues for next weeks ref so by definition are last weeks ref.I would say that the concept of 'last week's ref' is one that doesn't deal with situations correctly or adequately. Last week's ref is usually in the minority and is one that fails to take action, or takes the wrong action. It’s not something you are explicitly required to deal with by law and it’s not what football expects so by doing so you create issues for next weeks ref so by definition are last weeks ref.
I’d be wary of using Refchat referees as a representative sample of the the officiating population. In reality, I believe that the majority of U14 referees would completely ignore this comment … wrongly in my opinion.Last week's ref is usually in the minority and is one that fails to take action, or takes the wrong action.
Based on this sample, that appears to be you.
Well, yes that's why I said this sample.I’d be wary of using Refchat referees as a representative sample of the the officiating population. In reality, I believe that the majority of U14 referees would completely ignore this comment … wrongly in my opinion.

Definitely includes ignorance of expected application of law too which is perhaps unintendedIn my view LWR is one that deliberately and knowingly doesn't apply the laws of the game (like ignoring jewellery or not cautioning mandatory cautions).
Genuitly interpreting the laws that are open to interpretation differently, doesn't constitue LWR in my book even if I don't agree with it.
