The Ref Stop
What this does show is why the AR has no chance of giving it. Not a still he will be framing
Yeah, that is really poor for an elite level AR, he's miles off the correct position and doesn't really appear to be making much of an effort to get to the correct place.

If Palace wins would PGMOL/Webb dare admit it was an error? I'd wager they'd "support" the idea of Haaland going away from goal.

Surprised the going away from goal thing is even being mentioned - firstly because it’s the illegal action that takes it in that direction, and secondly because a shot from a wider angle with no keeper in the net is much more likely to be scored than a central 1-on-1

I get its a head "injury"...

But the referee has actually messed up here, hasn't he? The last touch of the ball was in the penalty area and the dropped ball shouldve gone to the keeper.

Strictly speaking yes, however the law is changing, so one to be aware of:

At the same time though decisions even themselves out really. Pen was never a pen, just fortunate City missed it.

On another day, Henderson gets sent off and De Bruyne probably gets sent off for 2 bookings 🤷‍♂️
