Is that not deliberate? The images of the kit don’t seem to be loading
I was under the impression they are embargoed until FA Release later on in the Spring.
Mind you, I can’t see that many pre orders going in without photos being provided!
Help keep RefChat running, any donation would be appreciated

Hello - It is on purpose you are rightIs that not deliberate?
I was under the impression they are embargoed until FA Release later on in the Spring.

This is a very strange strategy.Hello - It is on purpose you are right
Images will be shared as soon as we can, and we have reecived a high amount of pre-orders. The idea of doing this is to ensure we have enough stock for everyone and can insure everyone gets their kits!
I hope that helps, anymore questions just let us know!
Probably similar to what some clubs now do, you can either buy the actual kit like the players wear, or a cheaper replica version. As an example, for Man Utd the replica shirts are £80 but you can buy an "authentic" one for £110.What the heck is 'Pro DNA' Vs 'Grassroots'?
These prices only seem worth it on the current discount tbh. I can’t see how the “grassroots” shirt can warrant a cost of £38 without the 25% discount. The list price on the Puma gear is absolutely horrendous, more than the Nike stuff (the Puma list prices that is)
I also think only selling 4 colours is a bit strange. As theoretically you could buy 8 colours of the current Nike shirt. This is a very strange strategy.
I don't thing they expect that. The option is still with the potential buyer. How can you expect people to order something they’ve never seen?
Agree. My gut feel is that having the image is a better strategy for both parties. This is a very strange strategy.
And the standard kit for non-PGMOL is still supposed to be the current Nike for next season. So really this Puma is a 1 season kit unless imitating PGMOL.Also, thoughts on it only being a 2 year cycle and not the standard (as of late!) 4 year cycle?
Just to provide some clarity- This wasnt our decsion to make, our job is to give match Officials the choose and opportunity to pre-order their kit if so wish so. With experience from the Nike launch which we started a pre-order for in the January. We did not complete pre-orders until mid October of that year.I don't thing they expect that. The option is still with the potential buyer.
Not having the image is a double edged sword. There are those who pre order and wouldn't have had they seen the image. And there are also those who do not pre order but would have had they seen the image.
Agree. My gut feel is that having the image is a better strategy for both parties.

From what we have seen there is really no need for more than 4 colours. Nike launched the new kit with just 4 colours being launching new colours later down the line. But as PGMOL have shown by not taking any new colours there really isnt a need for it. The prices you see on our website will not increase meaning 25% off RRP on the Puma kit is the minimum you will reecive. In kits a lot changes in 4 years so moving to a 2 year cycle is a good thing. These prices only seem worth it on the current discount tbh. I can’t see how the “grassroots” shirt can warrant a cost of £38 without the 25% discount.

This is very similar yes bud, The idea we suggested was lets make the kit accessible for all. Although the Grassroots shirt is still a very very good bit of kit.Probably similar to what some clubs now do, you can either buy the actual kit like the players wear, or a cheaper replica version. As an example, for Man Utd the replica shirts are £80 but you can buy an "authentic" one for £110.

A PR nightmare!!Well this didn’t land well did it! 2 days ago its plastered everywhere and now they’ve been *****’d by the FA for showing it all and the photos now have no mention of Puma on them, and all Puma logos removed from the training kits. Not to mention the HUGE backlash they’ve had for trying to sell the match kits without any photos!
What backlash?Well this didn’t land well did it! 2 days ago its plastered everywhere and now they’ve been *****’d by the FA for showing it all and the photos now have no mention of Puma on them, and all Puma logos removed from the training kits. Can you confirm why the photo’s of the training kit have been taken down? Was the wrong kit launched? How do I cancel my pre-order if that is the case?Just to provide some clarity- This wasnt our decsion to make, our job is to give match Officials the choose and opportunity to pre-order their kit if so wish so. With experience from the Nike launch which we started a pre-order for in the January. We did not complete pre-orders until mid October of that year.
We have the opportunity to have ALL match Officials kit out to them by the middle of June, so again we wanted to let people make their own decisions. We have already reecived more pre-orders than we did in 4 months for the Nike kit. As soon as we can share the image's we most certainly will!!![]()
