Happy Monday, Everyone!
John Stones saved almost everyone's blushes with an absolutely despicable offside winner in the millionth minute at Wolves (not seen it), with only @RefereeX plumping for the draw that he was so cruelly denied. You'd have to be a complete plonker to have not put 5 points on a City win, and other than Exxy, only @FirsFox40 put a 4 on it. Most of us had a Sunderland win at Hull and a Liverpool win over Chelsea, and kudos to @Pwizardo (9) and @stedaley (12) who got triple points for the 2-1 scoreline at Anfield - the only trebles of the week. Mixed bag with the Roma-Inter match, and only @Gabriel and @Josh the referee went for a draw in the feisty Brazilian game (0-0) and grabbed a point each. @stedaley moves up into 4th, and @JamesL pulls clear of @RefereeX. Big up to @Josh the referee who was the only person to get all 5 predictions correct this week and closes the gap. @one still leads the way, but the gap is down to just two points going into our first bonkers week!
In the bonus game, there were 26 yellow cards shown yesterday in the five matches. We ruled (before the match finished) that the one shown to the 'keeper in the Liverpool match that was rescinded after a VAR check didn't count. 5-4-3-2-1 bonus points applied to people who were 0-1-2-3-4 away respectively. @stedaley got it spot on.
