About 4m 15s nearside AR starts to signal with left arm (non flag hand) at 45 degrees. Not quite sure what was going on at first, but then noticed he was mirroring the ref. It looked like he was mirroring an advantage signal.

Not sure if I've ever noticed this happening before

Didn’t see the game but from the still the AR appears to be acknowledging that he had seen the referee's signal.

It could be that, but seemed to hold it for longer that you would have expected just to acknowledge it, and I would imagine that comms would be that way they would have achieved that. I don't think there was an offside at that point either. It definitely had the look of a more public 'sell' of a decision.
