Forest vs Derby

The Referee Store
1, stonewall red card.

2. coaching point, at any level of football, when player takes a poor touch, alarm bells ring, you must be prepared for the get the ball back at all costs lunge.

Thats exact what happens here, run with ball, heavy touch, out of control lunge.

The temperature of the game at the time too, with Derby pressing for an equaliser having just scored was also a factor.

Lost his head and lunges in and as @Anubis said, get the ball back at any cost. And he’d been playing poorly since coming on which was obvious from his body language. Good learning point for all of us to note the behaviour of a player and the issues it might pose.

He also came back into the field at the end where the shoving started. One of his teammates did well to keep him away from it, or likely he’d have caused even more issues for everyone.

Bbc report once more helping educate the masses, with Morrison sent off " for a reckless tackle"

Would have liked to have seen a booking for the Forest keeper as well there. What has he run, 40/50 yards to get in face of Ravel Morrison?
He'd already been booked for his shenanigans with Tom Lawrence after the penalty, think he'd probably have been yellowed had he not been on one already.

Ah, yes. The modern meaning of the yellow card: "Don't worry about your behavior any more, as we don't give second cautions unless it probably should have been a straight red."

Yep I only saw the score and later the highlights as was at my game, but as a Forest fan, seeing that Samba had already been booked, I couldn't understand why he wanted to get involved.

I watched it, and as a forest fan also couldn't understand! It was all okay though because whilst shouting his mouth off Samba had his hands firmly behind his back... that makes it okay right?

I thought I'd posted almost exactly this earlier - the GK is constantly winding people up almost non-stop for the entire clip. Failing to deal with him is a big part of why this goes on so long. You can even see a moment where the red-carded player has started to walk off the pitch and then turns to respond to something the GK has said. That's an explicit moment where the GK has caused a situation that was just calming down to boil over again, it's inexcusable not to card him for any one of the many things he does.

I don't mind the incorrect use of the term 'reckless'
Can't really blame pundits for overlooking our pamphlet in favour of everyday dictionary definition of a word. We all use essentially use the same UEFA style scale of 1-10, the term we use to match the assessment is irrelevant, except when talking to an observer
