Off topic. Yes "we" are British but that team tonight is England.
Not Britain. Anybody contributing to this forum thinking they just watched Team GB needs to go consider whether sport is really their thing

I didn’t watch team gb or England it was a lethargic pathetic blow out from a load of millionaires who woudnt know patriotism if it kicked them up the bollo*

Leave off Ciley England is part of Britain easy mistake to make when we are often referred to as a collective (England n Ireland wales Scotland) known as Britain.

Take it as a complement that someone is including Scotland in a conversation about the World Cup.
 
Game wise, England had to kill that off in the first half when they controlled it. After that, Croatia worthy winners, England ran out of ideas
Ref was excellent first half and seemed a bit all over the place second, he had one of my pet hate moments where he allowed a dangerous aireal challange which he correctly penalised, to go with warning or sanction, yet cautioned the team mate for throwing the ball away. Each to own but I despise that. Sends a message to me that elbow to face is ok, but a act of petulance is not.
Two? Non corner awards for far side AR which I felt were clearly out of play but I only saw them once, then England denied a corner at the other end off a Croatia eyebrow, unless it was a no idea, give to defensive team call. Lovern? Too many fouls. Expected a bit better from ref, bit eratic after half time. Bit of quick thinking he could have signalled and claimed an advantage for the winning goal

Yep but an Englishman abroad is often referred to as a Brit.

You could quite legitimately say that XI Brits lost tonite.
 
Unless he was confused as to the lack of an individual national anthem for a country so powerful and mighty. Indeed, the only country at the WC without a national tune of their own. On that basis, I do understand the confusion
 
Who cares England lost England will never have a better opportunity as they managed to avoid every major nation in the tournament.

Refereeing wise it’s been a shambles & I’m glad it’s all over Sunday.
 
Imagine being told before the tournament starts that you will face Belguim twice and neither match would mean a thing!
 
Mbape v Young would have been ridiculous anyway.

Pogba & Kante v Henderson.

France will brush Croatia aside.
