World Cup WWC Final - Spain v England

The Referee Store
Defender appeared to flick out her arm as she jumped towards the ball, just not sure why it took so long for the referee to be called to the screen and then the decision when she was at the screen.

Did look like the keeper went early in real time, but still a very poorly taken penalty.

Co-comms on BBC is ridiculously biased. First of all she said it was never a handball, then she said if it was at the other end, she would expect a penalty.

Honestly think Penso has had a poor game. Didn’t use cards enough for these SPA fouls in the first half and now they’re flying in here.

Didn’t think it was a clear and obvious hand ball, she’s actually flexing her hand away from the ball as she lunges. Bit cliche but can a clear and obvious error take that long to call?

Agree with this...missed several cautions

Having been a Penso superfan up to this game, I don't think she's performing at her best here. Some clear fouls either way missed and her YC choices have been ... At best ... inconsistent

I see it as am incredibly clear pen tbh. Needed 1 replay

Would love to see a replay from the goal line...called keeper encroachment live
Yes...it was very close...
