You will probably struggle to write with any form of ink in really bad weather.

A common method is to put a strip of masking tape on the back of the card, and use a pencil to write on that (a small clip pencil works wonders for this).

I use a set of RA cards and I blue tac a florescent yellow card to this and split it into two halfs (home & Away).

I write direct to the card and when done peel off and bin

Google a 'Powertank' pen.

Or if you can still get them, the Fisher space Pens.

Powertank ink tank is charged with copmressed air so ink flows in any conditions when used.

The powertank pen is a good one, as said. If you would use a wallet, then the refsworld wallet (or at least match cards) work well, and don't smudge or wipe off with water, using the powertank pen supplied. And the card is re-usuable. http://refsworld.com/index.php/english/cards/referee-match-cards-re-usable-6-pack.html

I seem to remember refsworld offer a write on match card, the same used in the wallet just in half and both teams on each side, so that could be another option.

I just have normal RC & YC and I have split the cards in half with H & A team on. I write on the card with a pencil. and rub it off after.
