The Ref Stop

What do you take onto the pitch?

I have seen many threads detailing 'what's in your bag' but what do you actually take onto the pitch with you and where do you put it.
As I have mentioned elsewhere on here, I have my first official game on Saturday. I have the 2013/14 Nike kit. If anyone else uses this, what do you put in each of your pockets? Same goes for people that use different kits.

The Ref Stop
for me it's two watches, (one on each wrist), a whistle on a lanyard, (lanyard wrapped around my right wrist), a coin and a couple of sheets of kitchen towel, (right shorts pocket - kitchen towel in lieu of tissues and also keeps coin in pocket), glasses cloth (back pocket), a notebook and spare pencil (right breast pocket) and my match card and red and yellow cards in a plastic folder (left breast pocket)

I take enough for a few refs!

Right short pocket: Match Card in wallet with Red and Yellow cards
Left short pocket: tissue and a pencil
Back short pocket: spare cards
Left shirt pocket: Spare whistle, and a pen and pencil

Two watches, one on each wrist, and a Fox 40 classic on a elastic lanyard on my right wrist. And I wear the Umbro Diamond kit.

it's for those sensitive moments during the game
Thats the one!!

I use it to wipe sweat away when theres a stop in play, like when the ball gets booted away and goalkeeper has to go fetch it!

Or you never know when you mights need to wipe something!!
It just comes in handy sometimes!!!

Or when you ask for the (obviously muddy) ball at half time they chip it up for you to catch rather than passing it nicely for you to control...
Left shirt pocket: Coin and tissues, also pen clipped on for a dry day
Right shirt pocket: Notebook with red + yellow cards and pencil
Left from shorts pocket: YC
Back shorts pocket: YC
Watch on each wrist, 2 different whistles on lanyard which goes on my right wrist.

Yeah, I was gunna mention the muddy hands!

Short right - yellow card
Short left - nothing
Back short - red card
Fox 40 and other whistle linked together in my hand
Shirt right - yellow and red for 2nd yellow
Shirt left - coin, 5 bookie pens, notebook (with another set of red and yellow) and teamlines
Left wrist - Casio referee watch, counting down
Right wrist - casio f91w, counting up.

I wear the nike kit

Top left - red and yellow for second yellow and a pen clipped on
Zipped right - spare pen and coin
Short left, notebook and whistles (fox 49 eclipse and mini)
Short right - yellow card
Short back - red card

Spintso left wrist, RFT-100 right wrist along with whistle on wrist lanyard and sweat band.

Left shorts pocket - yellow card
Left shirt pocket, match pad, wallet with Yellow card and pen.
Right shorts pocket - red card
Right shirt pocket - Spare pen, whistle and coin.
Shorts back pocket - red card

So anything on my left side is a caution, anything on my right, a send-off.
YC - you are LEFT on the pitch for now
RC - Sent RIGHT off!

Watch on each wrist.
Red card back right pocket.
Yellow card top right chest pocket with coin
Match record card in plastic wallet in right short pocket
Acme tornado whistle in left short pocket for confrontations.
Lanyard with 60 something year old acme thunderer on it.

Nike kit:

Zip pocket: notebook with match sheet in as well as red and yellow cards and coin
Top left pocket: another yellow card
Shorts left pocket: 2 small pencils (sneakily taken from ikea)
Shorts right pocket: empty during the game, I have my whistle in their until I call the captains
Shorts back pocket: another red card

My red fox 40 classic whistle (on an acme wrist lanyard) and a limit watch (counts down) both on my right wrist as I right left handed

Nike kit:

Zip pocket: coin and spare pencil
Top left pocket: empty
Shorts left pocket: wallet with match pad with two yellows
Shorts right pocket: Another yellow card (used for second yellows) and circular red card
Shorts back pocket: Rectangular red card

My wrists: watch and whistle

I'm afraid of keeping anything in the side pockets just incase they fall off during the game or am I being paranoid?

Cheers

Uuuurrrrrmmm...Whatever i put in each pocket at the start of a game!!!
Usually is:
Back shorts pocket: RC
Right shorts pocket: YC, spare pencil
Left shorts pocket: Coin, Pencil, spare white card(a4 paper folded into quarters)- for any extra information that will not fit on match sheet.
Right shirt chest pocket: wallet with red and yellow cards

Reading all your posts I must be slacking:
Nike kit
Zip pocket: Coin, match sheet, spare pencil
Top left pocket: Yellow Card
Shorts left pocket: Team Sheet
Shorts right pocket: Team sheet for other team
Shorts back pocket: red card

I think it's one of those things that you have to figure out for yourself. The key is knowing where to reach for which item, in order to look confident during the process.

For what it's worth my setup is:

Left breast pocket: Ref wallet with Y & R cards, match pad, pen
Left shorts pocket: Coin
Right shorts pocket: Spare pen, spare whistle with lanyard.
Back pocket: Red card

I wear two watches - a basic Casio and a Casio RFT-100. I also wear a whistle on a wrist lanyard.
