Surprised by this. Fair play to her on an extremely successful career though!

This really shocked me and it was certainly unexpected. Definitely deserves all the credit she can get though, she had an amazing career. She ended it on a high with the UWCL final and Olympics tournaments.

Very good referee in the matches I watched her work. I’m surprised that she made the move into management now. She’s “only” 40, so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think she still had another couple of years at the EFL/Premier League level and 3-5 years at the upper levels of the women’s game.
