Was I Right?

If this was the wrong decision I hold my hands up and will go look at my rule book again.

Blues awarded a throw in. Blue player throws it straight to GK who catches it. I award an IDFK against blues.
Cue that happens all the time shouts blue player who took the throw in.
64 million dollar question, was I right?

Thank you. I was sure when I gave the decision but the self doubt came flooding in when I got home!

Before I passed my exam I did a lot of revising for it, I still at least once a week use the website I used just to keep refreshing things. The basic ones are no problems but the more complex situations are always good to go back over.

Which site? Areferee.com?

Clearly worked well for you.

yes thats the one. A brilliant learning tool and one i would recommend to any level 9

Yes I used that to pass my exam as well. Just noticed they have added videos too.

I'm sorry but as far as I'm concerned that site has far too many errors in law in their questions. As well as straight-up errors they also have a habit of stating things as absolute when they are in fact, matters of opinion and/or debate among referees.

Totally agree that it is far from perfect. However I still found it a highly useful tool over the first 2-3 years of my refereeing. Is there another site you would view as better in this context?

by useing this resource I got one question wrong in my LOTG exam, but as a newly qualified ref I probably wouldnt realise something is wrong. Another recomendation would be great to share with level 9s who come on this site.

Unfortunately, I haven't come across a laws quiz-type site that I would recommend but then I can't really say I've been looking for one. It may sound trite but the best resource for accurate information on the Laws of the Game as far as I'm concerned, is the IFAB website and the actual Laws themselves.

Then you must keep correcting the errors with the feedback form. The "soccer" quizzes have maybe 1 in 15 errors but the futsal side is much worse. If we all correct the mistakes and poor phrasing it will become a really goooood resource.
Glass half full;)

Also if I think a question is wrong or poorly worded if forces me to look it up in the laws so it all works out.

The situations it presents are more useful than reading the laws alone.

I have submitted several errors to them but have not received any acknowledgement or response.
