I think it would be safe to say that it was a little harsh, may have been technically correct by the LOTG but even so I think a word in the shell like along the lines of "you are in the last chance saloon sunshine" might have been better.

I completely agree Graham, van Persie was pushing the envelope, but Busacca seemed to want to prove a point. Webby's red in Russia was much more warranted.

I agree... was technically correct but it was harsh. He didn't stop his run or blaze it into row z, it was an attempt on goal which makes me think he hadn't heard the whistle?

Definitely a harsh call, however, Van Persie didn't hear the whistle? Pull the other one. The sound of the whistle is so high pitched, you'll hear it over the crowd. He took a chance and was punished in the extreme.

Now as for a joke, Bendtner! "I dreamed I would score the winner in the league cup final" - Missed the chance.
