Honestly. Watched the whole game. Refereeing in Turkiye is unbelievable difficult.
It feels like with all the Real Madrid stuff and what's been falling out of Turkiye the last few years. The referee treatment is at a low.

That is incredibly weak by the referee. To just stand there holding a yellow card is laughable.

The situation in Turkiye is extremely hostile against referees and I can see why the referee has chosen the weakest option.
It is extremely hostile, I agree, but clearly they aren't going to get any help from their bosses so there's an argument to say they have to collectively sort it out by themselves. Whether that is by going on a ruthless streak and dishing out multiple red cards a game, or refusing to referee games until they are backed by their bosses, I'm not sure but something clearly has to change.
