Will post link tomorrow, hopefully someone else can beat me to it
Last week Motherwell ladies had "an equaliser" chalked off as the ball was in mid air, well, it appears the guys went to Parkhead this afternoon and claimed an unusual goal, Celtic player down injured, so Celtic kicked it out...Mwell throw....but they took it as a normal attacking throw, and, yes, goal
By witness reports it did the game a favour and increased the tempo of the game and the atmosphere ten fold. And, as we know, nothing says one team needs to be nice and play a ball back to them.....
Am hearing Sutton challenged the Mwell manager and said his team should have let Celtic score a goal to even things back up
Sutton obviously forgets his same action v Arsenal in the last game of the 96-97 season....which he chased down a "throw back to the other team", won a corner and then Blackburn scored from the corner.
Totally no morals in the beautiful game at all, simply self preservation and greed.

Pretty sure Sutton when he did it was asked about it and said "so"?

Regards yesterdays, whether its right, wrong, fair, unfair, only Motherwell themselves come out of it tarred, goal meant for nothing in the game anyway and an 18yo on his first start now has this incident attached to him for rest of his career

Which as we all know means he will sign for Celtic in five years anyway

Celtic kicked ball out so Celtic player could get treatment, at half way, not quite as morally due the ball back as when you kick it out for the opponents

In a sport rife with cheats and the disgrace of Chelsea yesterday, it does seem a bit strange all of a sudden teams moaning about ethics!

It’s an ethical thing and not a legal thing.. Bit like the Leeds thing! The goal is legal to my knowledge

Judging purely from the clip alone, well done to the referee for staying alert. Firstly to the unexpected turn of events (he ended up in the PA when the goal was scored) and secondly for being right there when the inevitable confrontations started happening between the players involved

He booked 2 Motherwell and 1 Celtic over it, but, nothing for these, (2)
Great chance to have booked the Mwell guy who caused it...04708E9E-B80C-4965-9944-8DBF0CE827A8.png
