Grabbed me a game for tomorrow after all this weekend got cancelled!

Only curiosity is it will be my first ever youth game! U15 or U16. Not sure which.

What are the half lengths for these 2 age groups?

After half an hour of searching found a document saying 15 and 16 both 40 so that's nice and easy then

Looking out the window,its as foggy as can be, my game is on still ( so far so good ). Fingers,legs and all wobbly bits crossed.

Yeah ! just looked out and fog is lifting......but the pitch i got is 1/2 mile from sea (as crow flies) so dont know if it will linger ????

Well that was the most boring 80 minutes of my life! 4 free kicks all game... And 2 of them were soft as they come. 11-0 to home team.

Only one player shook my hand at the end... So 21 yellow cards to report!

Ended up with three games today , all done in short sleeves, it was lovely....1st match U18, cracking game only one incident where a lad lost his front teeth after heading a ball and colliding with an opponents shoulder...teeth were held in his mouth by braces.

2nd match one sided affair...then no ref on an adjacent pitch so did an U15 match where one team only had 10 players , good match until the last 20 minutes when the home team scored a couple

So much nicer running around in the Sun
