Signal bip Flags

I am looking to get some buzzer flags for a referee friend of mine. Does anyone know anything about them? Mainly the stuff they don't mention on the website and personal opinions.

Signal bits are decent enough, although I think if you're going to spend the money they cost, you're better off with either the ErvoCom's or TouchLine's
 
Have you ever had any problems with the signal bips, eg. The batteries or the range.
The Ervocom's and Touchline's are a bit out of my budget (he's not that good a friend ;))
 
From what I heard (I never bought them!), the Signal's weren't that much cheaper that Ervo's or TL's.

I only ever used Signal's as AR. The handles aren't nice to use at all.
In terms of the receiver, it doesn't vibrate, only beeps. It's also an incredibly confusing receiver, as I've witnessed the numerous occasions I've watched ref's try and get it ready.

Range seems to be okay, likewise battery (never had it stop working mid-match)
 
Doe anyone know where I can buy a new receiver for my refs call flags
Been out so long I cannot find mine
Have emailed refs call and they want £60 for a receiver
