My name is Sam and I'm a journalist for various (and former Sunday League referee).
I'm doing some work on referees who do not re-register with their county FA within 12-18 months of qualifying (example: you qualified in summer 2017, refereed during the 2017-18 season, but chose not to re-register for 2018-19 season). Can be any reason for not re-registering - suffering from abuse, other commitments, just losing interest, etc. Particularly interested to know what you think could be done to improve support for new referees, if anything.
