This happend at weekend on the next pitch along from me and wondered what peoples thoughts would be:-
Pitch was waterlogged and clearly un-playable, the manager called the referee and told him and he called off the game from the comfort of his living room. Now am i not right in thinking that only a referee or a coucnil can actually postpone a game, surely you shoudl'nt just take a managers word for it. Dont get me wrong the manager was right and there was no way a game of football could have been played.
