Yep I do them regularly. Was on the line for Ammanford v Undy Athletic this afternoon. Have been in the middle and on the line for both Div One/Two and the Youth leagues. I have found that whilst the standard is obviously higher, it's more often more enjoyable as the teams are there to play rather than kick each (In most cases anyway). Pace of the game will probably be the biggest thing you'll notice straight away.
It's much better than Ref'ing the local leagues as you're treated well, hospitality etc and can actually sit in a room with the players/staff afterwards and have a conversation.
Having said that I'm on the line at West End on the 13th which I've heard is a interesting place to go lol.
I've done one Div One match and one Div Two match in the middle, with 2-3 of each as AR. That's the thing, you say it's the second tier of Welsh football, which is obviously true but it's not as high a standard as I thought it would be.
It depends on the teams. If you get a team that has bee recently promoted from Tier 3, against the likes of Haverfordwest etc, then you are in for a possible poor game. Not done a WFL for a while, but would hope that it would improve with te Super 12.
