I see what you're getting at - the ones I use have the metal ring that slides up and holds the strap tight. Similar concept I guess, although I have noticed one of them starting to go a little rusty very recently. So yeah, might try the refworld ones when the current ones do wear out - but they're a very heavy duty material, so it might be a while.have you tried the ones myself @James Long and @Ross have suggested @GraemeS ??
all same basic idea, they are much better than the ones you have suggested IMO as the lanyard stays secure around your wrist - have the wrist strap and lanyard as 2 separate pieces works well

I'm definitely a "wrist lanyard" guy, never liked the look of the finger clips.
