Maybe it's my physical size or my gay wit and repartee with which I engage club officials and substitutes but once more I find myself appointed as 4th official in the end of season Sunday League jamboree. I like the role, it's just that if I'm going to get soaked/frozen/sunburnt, then I'd like to get some exercise while doing so.
Meanwhile I've been appointed as one of the team of officials who will manage our inaugural Sunday League memorial trophy game in memory of our former chairman. It's a nice honour and I'll be happy to undertake any role on the day (in August).
