Saw this comment on facebook on a post about the West Ham penalty shout (handball)
"ask yourself this question - If the ball hadn't struck his hand, would it have been a shot on target? In such close proximity to the goal, it has to be a penalty regardless of it being intentional or otherwise. The reality is that it prevented a shot on goal."
