On August 4th I'm making the 1hr 3min journey to Leicestershire for a week long academy tournament which features 2 Scottish teams and a team from Norway... Exciting times!!

Aberdeen and Dunfermline. From the e-mail I got, I believe it's a week long under 12's and 14's academy football festival. So should be a decent standard of games to get me going again
 
if the Under 12 game is full 11 aside pitch it will be their first time playing it - till the end of the season there, they only play part pitch but with 11aside rules. a lot of the pro youth teams are of excellent standard. enjoy :)
 
Thanks Micky, tomorrow signifies another step up in intensity of fitness work so should be in good shape by the start of August.
 
Got the team list through today... Seems pretty good.

Sheffield Utd; MK Dons; Bristol Rovers; Aberdeen; Derby County;
Birmingham City; Peterboro Utd; Leicester City; Dunfermline; Sheffield
Wednesday; Watford; Leyton Orient; Millwall; Burton Albion; ISFA
(Independent Schools) and Norway.
 
Sounds like it will be a great event - one thing I will say, though, is that I can almost guarantee that Bristol Rovers will get pooped on by a lot of those teams! :p
