I also found it interesting that officials in MLS are also now all wearing Apple Watches, similar to how Premier League referees all wear Hublot smartwatches. This is the first year of Apple's 10-year, $250 million per year ($2.5 billion total) deal with MLS where all games are available worldwide on Apple's TV platform. All MLS jerseys now have an Apple TV logo below the MLS logo on one of the sleeves. I would think that if Apple said they wanted match officials to wear Apple Watches, MLS has 2.5 billion reasons to say "yes" to that particular request.
