Minutes silence

Hi all

Are any of you planning on a minutes silence this Saturday or do you leave to the Sunday games??

Saturday as well, although this is enforced by the League.

As long as both teams agree, and I don't see why they wouldn't, I'll be doing one tomorrow.

We did it today, for Remembrance Day but also for the loss of a prominent local footballing gentleman. Was completely respected and if anything set the tone for a great game.

Although I wasn't actually reffing today, my League did 2 minutes. Does anyone else have that - everywhere I've seen it's been one?

I would have done it, however, Sunday morning 8am I got a call to advise the game succumbed to the weather.

In respect of whether its a 1 or 2 minute silence, it is usually a 1 minute silence on remembrance Sunday and a 2 minute silence on Armistice Day (11th day of the 11th month at 11am when the guns fell silent) as it was this morning.
