Mike Jones, Rotherham-Sheffield Wednesday

As good a performance as you are likely to see this whole weekend, or any for that matter. Thought it only right that my first post should be a positive one.
Mike Jones has been excellent all season long and all year long I'd suggest. Perhaps has a tendency to make big mistakes, but not on a regular basis by any means. A very assured official, was the top performer in last week's Watford-Arsenal game too.

just above lee mason on my lowest rated select group referee list, but last night i thought he had an excellent game

Didn't see the game last night, so can't comment of this specific performance.

However as I have said before, granted Mike Jones has done very well to be considered for the select group, but for me he is definitely one of the weaker referees within this group.

I think he's been excellent this season, can't really fault him so far if I'm honest
