Can’t believe no one has posted this yet.

Second yellow and a red card?
Let’s hear the views!

I thought it was very harsh. Don’t even think the player made a tackle. So my decision is no card.

The Ref Stop
I saw multiple repays. One of them showing a slight contact from behind on the foot which would have easily caused the trip. Good card for me. Most other replays start just after the contact making it look like there was no contact.

What is found more interesting was the commentary on the goal at 105min.
Player goes down on the edge of the box. Referee cuts the grass. Commentators says advantage played, and then says advantage taken after the goal. 🤣

In isolation the foul in that situation is a stonewall yellow

Knowing how accidental it was makes feel harsh

Once he gives the foul a caution is pretty much mandatory. The foul was perhaps a little bit soft, but the only options were not give the free kick or give it and caution.

No comment on any particular incident(s) as it was just in in the background while we were working our way through a third bottle of beaujolais I was being a good Christian boy on Maundy Thursday, but I turned the TV off at 2-4.

Quite the shock this morning when I checked FotMob after seeing this thread 😂
