The media doesn’t help either. MOTD for example, had no reason to bring it up. Previous instances of removing a shirt (unless part of 2 bookings for a player) don’t get mentioned so there’s no need to highlight the issue, especially when Linekar day decides to say that ‘perhaps he should overlook it’.
