Some of the younger members here may not know the story of Alex Sabella, Our manager at the time went to buy a 17 year old player you just may of heard of.... Diego Maradona, they upped the price and we bought Sabella instead.... If only!!!!!

He was a cracking player playing in a poor side at that time, he was light years ahead in his thinking and football ability and actually was relegated that season. We cut our losses and sent him up the road!
