During play, a player who was outside the field of play receiving treatment, with the referee’s permission, re-entered the field while the ball was in play. I am assuming he entered without permission. Also assuming your other part of description means he interfered with play.
The referee stops play and awards a direct free kick from where interference occurred.

If there was no interference its IFK from where the ball was.
