Ball played forward towards HTFC goal, attacker plays ball to goalkeeper's left. Keeper puts hands on the ball and the attacker kicks it out from under his hand before swivelling and kicking the ball between the goalkeeper's legs and past a defender into the goal. Cue protest by the goalkeeper.

Now I'm a Leeds fan first and foremost BUT the law says this...

So I'm thinking Roger East should have stopped play and awarded a free kick to Huddersfield instead of the goal to Newcastle.

you then had the commentator looking at it in slow motion before saying that "they got it right. He only had one hand on it!" At least the officials only got the one look in real time and probably couldn't see that because it happened so quickly.
Although wrong, not the worst decision of the day by any means!

Perpetuating the myth that a goalkeeper has to have both hands on the ball - doh!
