Possibly. It looks like a deliberate trip - albeit with his head, which was reckless. You might consider dangerous play, but on the basis that contact was made you would have to go for a penal offence. It's only on the last replay that it actually looks as though he tripped over his own feet and fell in front of the player. Difficult one though.
 
I can't play the video because I'm in NZ, but it looks like the player has put himself in danger, and is therefore playing in a dangerous manner.

tricky, but I'm not sure I would have booked him - it's his own fault.

Absolutely. Complete stupidity by the player, with a reckless challenge and a challenge which is definitely of a ridiculously unsporting nature.
