How long does the FA level 1 coaching certificate last before you need to do level 2?

Hi guys. I was just wondering once you do the FA Level 1 in coaching how long does this certificate last? i.e by when do you need t do the FA Level 2 Course? Any help would be appreciated.

To my knowledge, you don't ever 'lose-it', but you do need to refresh several elements (First-Aid, CRC, Safe-guarding etc) every few years.

As N416405 says, the level 1 doesn't expire however you do need to update/refresh your CRC, first aid and safeguarding elements.
Many coaches stay at level 1 as it isn't mandatory to do level 2. The reason why many don't do level 2 is because it needs much more time to do than level 1

You're a Level 1 forever (subject to the "legality" update elements).

There is no requirement to undertake Level 2.
