I disagree that the person with the ball can't be considered 'challenging' for the ball. They can easily, for instance, raise their foot to sneakily catch the opponent's foot under their studs, that's SFP. Anyway, as there isn't even any pretence of going for the ball, I'm going for VC.
I suspect this differentiation isn't worth the effort we're giving it though - as it's probably going to be a bunch of idiots who have never refereed a day in their lives and never even seen the LOTG who are on the judiciary and who will decide if VC or SFP was wrong anyway, so may as well just toss a coin really
