In this Spurs v Chelsea FA Cup semi-final a couple of years ago the most talked about decision was Martin Atkinson's award of a ghost goal. But you can see from this video that on Tottenham's goal, had Bale not scored, then Cech would certainly have been sent off. I was wondering whether:
a) The correct decision was made - as a goal was scored it could not have been DOGSO
b) It should have been yellow for USB
c) It should have been red as Bale's presence was purely incidental and the initial goal scoring opportunity was denied
For me it was b) but what are your views?
