What does anyone make of the penalty incident?

Think we can conclude that it shouldn't have been a penalty but sanction wise, feel a yellow card is sufficient but it is also a very poor challenge in itself

Presumably DOGSO if the referee realised it was outside the box?

Think the expectation would definitely be DOGSO if given as outside the area. Very difficult for the referee, but the foul was so far outside the penalty area I suspect the AR involved is going to get panned for the decision.

I was in 2 minds as to whether it should have been a red for SFP regardless of where the foul was committed.

AR1 was in a good spot to correct the decision and let the ref know if was outside, but hey ho.
