Celtic appeal against red card (dogso) and feel that they should have had a penalty

Neil Lennon on red card appeal 'I think Pawlett was going wider and I think Efe Ambrose could have got across to cover.'

Your thoughts? will the red card be rescinded? would you give a penalty?

I think the red card could be downgraded to a yellow. I feel that Ambrose would have made it back had van dyke not brought him down. However, I don't think I'd ever be giving a penalty for the handball appeal.

Red for me, next thing the striker would have done is shoot, defender wasn't going to get in on time.

Difficult to tell but I'm not altogether convinced that he had control of the ball at the moment of the foul as he had kicked it a little too far in front of him

Good to see that Micky's bias doesn't extend to giving the penalty for handball tho' :)
