Looked like a def caution from the first viewing but the replay suggest (for me) it's not even a foul.
I didn't think it was an RC from either viewing though.

The Ref Stop
It looks like (on my 5th viewing!) the yellow player has crashed into the player, at speed, with a boot that wasn't on the floor and studs pointing forward - and then the rest of his leg(s) ... "endangering the safety ..?"

5th viewing and I can see why it's a red :)

Agree with Alex. Endangering the safety of an opponent. With a boot like that, IMO he is not in control, and could have caused serious injury, luckily he made connection with the ball.

Red card. Move along. Player reactions here also suggests that a red card is the best course of action.

Immediate thought: SFP

Closer shot: hmmm still a naughty tackle possibly a caution rather than red?

Several views with freeze frame on the important bits: SFP red card.

:D

Watched it once, no problem with the red card, the player in yellow has no control over his movement, endangering the other player
