Not really note any issues with the refereeing, and hopefully won't...
My gripe in this match is the match summariser. Don't know her name, her experience etc, just a background thing at my counter at work.
One thing I picked up on was a comment she made around the 25th minute mark or so.
There was a "challenge", don't know who in favour for, that she said, and I quote:
"I think it was a foul. The referee has got that terribly wrong".
Now... this is where I think issues happen when it comes to frustration from fans and the commentary team.
She may have vast footballing experience, and fans may take what she says as gospel (and other commentators too), but to say she THINKS it was a foul and says that the referee got that terribly wrong really sends the wrong message.
It is her OPINION that it was a foul, and therefore her OPINION he got it wrong.
She made it sound factual that he got it wrong.
