Best position at kick off?

I'm doing my 7-6 and there's a section on the assessment about optimum position at kick off I've got my first coach visit in the new year so I'm just wondering what the best position is.

Somewhere where you can see all of the players to make sure they are in their own half, and the ball being kicked. Typically that is in the half of the team taking it, to the left of the centre circle about 8 to 10 yards from the halfway line.

You can also look at where the ball is likely to go to change your position. If the taking team have several players close to the left touchline they are obviously going to long long towards the corner, so it might make sense to start in the attacking half in that case.

I recommend what the laws recommend. Start moving towards opponent half as the ball is kicked.
