Ben White vs John McGinn

What are we thinking with the below?

NB. I cannot find a good enough video which has the referee’s whistle, however if it hadn’t already been blown before McGinn kicks it, I may retract my view on him getting a caution.

Either way, I think for White to not get a caution here is slightly lenient.

It's on MOTD highlights. The whistle is not blown until after McGinn kicks it. I think a red card for VC is fully justified for White here as he is intending to hurt McGinn.

Yeah I can see what you mean to be fair. I think it’s an orange card situation. I can see either side of it. No card is what I found slightly odd.
