I'd offered him a lift into town to meet up with his mates

Five minutes before we left I asked him if he'd set up the Liverpool game on the t.v.

Game started. We watched the free kick, 1-0

Drove him into town listening to John Bon Jovi

Dropped him off - switched 5 live on - heard that it was 2-0 - tooted and told him

third goal and fourth goals on the way home

texted him when i got in

i live less than a mile and a half from town

Who'd be an Arsenal fan!
