Ref was very relaxed on countdowns. It's like he forgot and was reminded at HT.

Was there any need for the ref to get involved in countdowns yesterday evening? Remember seeing him hurry Arsenal up once with a count.

I won't be using the countdowns aggressively. Doing so has the potential to cause unnecessary annoyance. An overly officious referee will quickly become conspicuous. They are there, only for when they're needed
